Zion Pentecost Mission is part of a move of God and God's people to reclaim and restore all the promises of God's word, the full number of offices in the Body of Christ, and the Holy Ghost gifts given to all by Jesus himself.
We believe that all Christians are gifted and empowered to gospel service by Jesus himself (1Corinthians12,4-11)
This service includes the offices of apostle, prophet, evangelist, as well as local pastor-teacher ("elder"), and deacon. Ephesians 4,11-12; Romans 12,6 lists the office of Prophet and gift of prophecy first.
The gifts of the Holy Spirit bring life and build up Christ's body (1Corinthians14,12). The offices bring order, teaching, priorities, and discipline.
We teach that all God's promises, offices and gifts are best released by adult water baptism, the distinct experience of baptism in the Spirit, a biblically restored celebration of the Lord's Supper (partaking of Jesus' risen body and blood led by men and women baptized in the Spirit), evangelization by both men and women, and the teaching of the whole counsel of God to the next generation (Psalm78,6).
Our approach is biblical and seeks more than mental belief in Jesus but also to follow Him.
Our approach is both contemporary and timeless, and pastorally oriented towards healing, wholeness, joy, and faith witness to all.
Our attitude to those inside and outside the church is respectful of everyone's freedom of speech, association, conscience, and human dignity.
Through the grace of God, we aim to love all God's people with Christ's love.
In sum, we see ourselves as Ambassadors of Jesus who always have a reason for our hope on our lips.
